Photos for download in Mafelo are valid by default for 12 months from the moment they are added to the gallery. You don't need to worry about missing this deadline – we will send you a notification 3 weeks before they expire, giving you plenty of time to react.
Extending the validity of photos for download
Important: Extending the validity of photos for download for another year costs one gallery from your account.
Note: If the validity period has already ended, check the Photo transfer tab in the gallery. If you see a message saying the files are still there but about to be permanently deleted, you can still renew access before the stated deadline to keep them. If the message instead says the files have already been permanently deleted, extending the gallery will not restore them — you can still upload new photos after you renew access.
Go to the Galleries tab in the left menu.
Click the Expiring tab located on the top bar above the gallery list.
Select the galleries on the list where you want to extend the photo download time (you can select one or multiple galleries).
Click the green Extend the validity of selected galleries button.
Check the displayed summary, which shows the exact number of galleries being extended and the total cost of the operation in galleries.
Click the green confirmation button, for example Extend 2 galleries.

Extending the validity of photos for download for another 12 months costs the equivalent of one gallery. This gallery is automatically deducted from the pool of packages available in your account.
What happens to the photos for download after their validity expires?
After the validity expires, photos for download are permanently deleted from Mafelo.
