Instead of sending separate messages requesting consent, the system displays a friendly invitation at the perfect moment – right after the order is paid. This takes the pressure off the client and builds a partnership relationship.

How to configure publication consents
Managing default consents
Go to the Settings tab in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Click the Consent Types icon.
Use the toggle visible next to a given consent to change its status to active or disabled.
Use the arrows on the right side to change the display order of consents.
Tip: Mafelo offers a set of standard consents that are automatically translated into all languages available in the system. Disabled consents will disappear from your selection list and will not be visible to clients.
Creating custom consents
On the consent types list, click the Add button.
In the Consent name field, enter a short name to make identification easier (e.g., "Instagram publication").
In the Consent content field, enter a clear statement for the client to accept.
Click Save so the new consent appears on your list.
Pro tip: If you want to bold part of the text in the client form, use two asterisks at the beginning and end of the word (e.g., by typing **photo publication**, the client will see it as bold).
Collecting consents and the client view
The consent request appears automatically on the confirmation page right after the client orders and pays for the photos. If the client does not make a decision right away, the form is always available in their panel under the Publication Consents tab.
You can manually send a consent request at any time. To do this, go to the selected gallery, click the Manage Consents button, and click Send Consent Request.
Important: Clients participating in private galleries must have an account and log in to their client panel in order to manage their publication consents. Clients can both grant and revoke previously given consents at any time.

No, the client does not have to consent to publishing the entire gallery. When filling out the form, the client can add a comment and indicate the specific photo numbers they consent to sharing.
