Yes, in the Mafelo platform you can easily set separate print formats (prints) for each type of gallery. This way, when creating a new gallery, the system will automatically copy only those formats that match the given order. You don't need to worry about manually adding options every time — this will save you a lot of time!
Key Benefits and Use Cases
School and preschool galleries (public): Ideal for offering standard and affordable packages (e.g. 10x15) for bulk orders.
Wedding or newborn galleries (private): Great for selling exclusive, large formats and photo canvases for premium clients only.
Clear pricing: Avoid confusion, as clients only see the products that are actually intended for them.
How to Configure Print Formats for a Selected Gallery Type
The process of assigning print formats to a specific gallery type is very simple. Just follow the steps below:
Go to the Settings tab in the main menu.
Select the Print Formats option from the list.
Click the Add button or edit an existing format on the list.
In the form, find the gallery type selection field and check the appropriate option (e.g. private galleries, public galleries, or all).
Click Save to keep your new settings.
📣Note: Formats that you assign to the "all gallery types" option will always be automatically added to every new gallery, regardless of its type.
⚠️Important: Keep in mind that private and public galleries have completely different login logic for clients. Before offering different products in both gallery types, make sure your clients know how to access their photos.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Can I change print formats in an already created gallery?
Yes, to change print formats in an already created gallery, you need to edit the pricing settings directly in the panel of that specific gallery. Changes made in the main account settings (described above) only affect newly created galleries and will not update existing ones.
Why don't my clients see some print formats in their panel?
If clients don't see some formats, make sure that the given format has been assigned to the correct gallery type (private or public).
