Although there is no direct button in the photographer's panel to download previously uploaded photos, our technical support team can do this for you in emergency situations. Below you will find the request procedure and information about the quality of the recovered files.

How to submit a photo recovery request
To recover your photos, please paste the gallery link directly in this chat.
Paste the gallery link (copied from the browser's address bar) in this chat, or provide its exact name and the date it was uploaded to Mafelo.
Specify which photos you want to recover (from the Photos tab or from the Photo Delivery tab).
Send the message.
📣Note: Our support team will manually prepare a ZIP package with the photos and generate a download link, which we'll send you here in this chat. We will do this as quickly as possible during our working hours.
⚠️Important: The generated download link is active for 24 hours only. We recommend downloading the photos to your drive immediately after receiving the message. If you are unable to do so, the link will expire and you will need to contact us again to prepare a new package.
File quality and resolution
The resolution at which we recover the photos depends on the module they were uploaded to. The Mafelo system optimizes files in different ways depending on their intended use.
Photos from the "Photo transfer" tab
These are final photos intended for download by the client.
We can recover them in their original resolution.
These files are identical (in quality and size) to those you uploaded for the client to download.
Photos from the "Photos" tab (Shot Selection)
This is the module used for presenting photos, client shot selection, and placing orders, where the priority is gallery loading speed.
We can recover them at a resolution of up to 1920x1080 pixels (this is the quality at which files are stored in this module).
Use case: This quality is sufficient for previewing, posting on social media, or small prints, but may not be sufficient for large-format printing.
⚠️Important: Mafelo is not a data backup (archiving) service. We always recommend creating local backups of your RAW files and developed JPGs on external drives or dedicated cloud storage.

Is the photo recovery service paid?
No, we help in such situations free of charge (both under a subscription plan and purchased gallery packages), treating it as technical support.
How long will I wait for the photos?
We aim to handle such requests on an ongoing basis during office hours.
Can I recover photos from a deleted galleryy?
Deleted galleries go to the trash, where they are stored for 21 days. If the gallery is removed from the trash (manually or automatically after this period), recovering the photos will not be possible, as the files are permanently deleted from our servers.
