Open a reservation and you get everything Bookboost holds about that booking on one screen, without switching to your PMS. The booking reference is at the top, and a View in PMS link in the top-right corner takes you straight to the same reservation in the connected PMS if you need to change something.
What is on the screen
Reservation details. Booking reference, property, primary guest, number of guests, check-in and check-out dates, and length of stay.
Additional info. Purpose of travel, market segment, and channel. What appears here depends on what your PMS sends and how those fields map into Bookboost.
Notes. Any notes carried on the booking.
PMS info. Which PMS the booking came from, its reservation ID there, when it was created, and when it was last updated. This is the first place to look when Bookboost and the PMS disagree.
Activity. The status progression of the reservation, with timestamps.
Policies. Cancellation, deposit, and any other policies attached to the booking.
Financial. Total amount, outstanding balance, and the rate plan.
Space info. Room type, room number, floor, and room status. The same information is in Reservations > Spaces.
Extras. Any add-ons on the booking.
Rate plan. Its name, code, and description.
Guest info. The primary guest's name, contact details, language preference, and a link to their full profile.
Event log. Changes and actions taken on the reservation.
What people use it for
Checking a booking without logging into the PMS.
Confirming who the guest is and how to reach them before sending a message.
Finding the room and floor a guest is in.
Checking the balance outstanding on a stay.
Working out what changed and when, from the event log.
What this does not do
Nothing here can be edited. This is a read-only view of PMS data. To change a booking, change it in the PMS and let it sync back.
Empty sections usually mean the PMS did not send that field. Policies and extras in particular are often blank, because not every PMS provides them. It is not missing data in Bookboost.
Timestamps are in the property's local time, not yours. Worth remembering when you compare against the PMS from another time zone.
Sync is not instant. There can be a short delay between a change in the PMS and it appearing here. PMS info shows when the record was last updated.
What to do next
See Where reservation data comes from for how the sync works and why fields go missing, and Can I delete a reservation in Bookboost? if you need a booking removed.
