Every reservation in Bookboost came from your PMS. Nothing is created here. When a booking is made or changed in the PMS, the integration passes it to Bookboost, which is why you can check a stay without logging into two systems.
It also explains the two things people ask about most: why a field is empty, and why a change has not appeared yet.
Why a field is empty
Bookboost can only show what your PMS sends. PMS providers differ in which fields they expose, so a section that is blank for you may be full for another property on a different system.
Policies, extras, and market segment are the usual ones. If something you expect is consistently missing rather than occasionally, it is worth asking support whether that field is available on your integration at all, rather than assuming it will fill in later.
Why a change has not appeared yet
Sync is quick but not instantaneous, and how often it runs depends on the integration. A change made in the PMS a moment ago may take a little time to reach Bookboost.
The PMS info section on a reservation shows when that record was last updated, which tells you whether you are looking at a stale copy or whether the change never arrived.
What this does not do
Bookboost is not the source of truth. It is a communication layer over your PMS data. Where the two disagree, the PMS is right.
You cannot edit reservation data here. Corrections are made in the PMS and sync back.
Missing fields cannot be filled in manually. If the PMS does not send a field, there is no way to add it to the reservation in Bookboost.
What to do next
See The reservation detail screen for what each section on a reservation shows, and Can I delete a reservation in Bookboost? for why bookings cannot be removed here.
