How to integrate ING Pay
Note: To activate your ING Pay account, you need to add your session terms and conditions and verify a few other details on your website. Before you start the registration, make sure you have completed the steps described in this article: How to prepare your page for online payments?
Step 1: Register with ING Pay
During the registration process, enter our partner code: 0140 — with it, you get a 1.3% commission on all payment methods!
Go to the ING Pay website: https://www.ing.pl/bramka-platnicza-ing-pay
Click the Order a payment gateway button and choose the Standard offer option. This is important, because only then can you enter the partner code that gives you a permanently lower commission.
You will be redirected to the ING login page. If you don't have an account yet, create one.
After you log in, you will see the application screen for the ING Pay payment gateway. On this page, select the I have a partner code option and enter the code 0140 in the Partner code field.
After you click Next, you will see a form where you need to fill in your shop details. Your Mafelo booking page works as the online shop, so in the Shop web address field, enter the address of your booking page, for example https://coffeestudio.mafelo.net. The commissions shown on this screen are the standard rates. When your gateway is activated, you will be assigned to our partner account and the rates will be set to 1.3%.
On the next screen, you will see a summary. Check your company details and the partner code carefully.
After you send the application, ING Pay may contact you to ask for more information. Turning on the payments themselves should not take more than 1–2 business days.
Now go to the Data for integration tab:
Open Mafelo in a new tab and go to Settings → Online payments.
Click the Configure ING Pay button.
Copy the Merchant ID, Shop ID, and Shop key from the ING Pay panel and paste them into the form in Mafelo.
Step 2: Configure the gateway in Mafelo
Log in to your ING Pay panel.
Go to the Shops tab and click the name of your shop. Then click Details.
Check your shop status — if you see the status Active, you can go on with the rest of the setup. If you see the status Verification in progress, wait until ING Pay activates it.
Now go to the Data for integration tab:
Open Mafelo in a new tab and go to Settings → Online payments.
Click the Configure ING Pay button.
Copy the Merchant ID, Shop ID, and Shop key from the ING Pay panel and paste them into the form in Mafelo.
Testing the integration
After you save the settings, click the Test the integration – run the payment test button. You will then be taken to a payment page with an amount of 2 PLN. The amount you pay goes to your ING Pay account, and it lets you check whether the integration works correctly.
Do you see an error after going to the payment page?
If an error appears after you go to the payment page, it may be caused by one of two things:
Your shop is not active yet — check your shop status in the ING Pay panel. If your shop has the status Verification in progress, it means you still need to wait for ING Pay to verify your website.
An error in the ING Pay configuration — go back to Step 2: Configure the gateway in Mafelo and check that you copied all the data correctly.
