Introduction
Before a payment operator (e.g. Przelewy24, HotPay) signs a contract with you, they must verify your "store". In Mafelo, your Booking Page serves as the store. You need to configure it so that it contains all elements required by law, even if you don't plan to use bookings on a daily basis.
Key benefits
Fast verification – the payment operator will accept your application without unnecessary questions.
Legal compliance – your page will contain the required terms and conditions and privacy policy.
Ready to sell – after verification you will be able to immediately accept payments for sessions.
How to configure your page for verification
Below you will find a list of 5 steps required to pass verification. The listed points are required by operators; the remaining options can be set at your discretion.
Important: You must provide the payment operator with the link to your booking page (e.g. katestudio.mafelo.net), not the general Mafelo website link.
1. Set up your booking link
Go to the Bookings tab.
Select Share booking link.
Set your unique name (e.g. "katestudio").
Your link will look like this:
katestudio.mafelo.net.
2. Fill in your details and enable the privacy policy
Go to Bookings > Booking settings.
Check the option Display the default privacy policy on the booking page.
Check the option Display Visa and MasterCard logos on the booking page.
Click Save.
3. Add Terms and Conditions
This is the most important step. Without correct terms and conditions, your application will be rejected.
Go to Bookings > Terms and Conditions.
Click Add.
You can paste your own text or use our Terms and Conditions Creator.
Important: Your terms and conditions must include:Your full company details.
Information about the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days.
The complaint procedure.
Check the option Always visible on the booking page.
Click Save.
4. Create a service
The operator needs to see that you have something to sell.
Go to the Services tab.
Click Create service, enter a name (e.g. "Portrait session") and a short description.
Click Save.
In the service editor, click Add package, enter the price and package contents.
In the "Terms and Conditions" field, select from the list the terms and conditions created in step 3.
Click Save.
5. Add working hours
For the service to be visible in the calendar, you need to have available time slots.
Go to Bookings > Working hours.
Add availability (e.g. Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00).
Verifying your settings
Before submitting your application to the operator, check your page as a client.
Copy your booking link.
Open it in your browser.
Check the following points:
Are the "Privacy Policy" and "Terms and Conditions" links visible at the bottom of the page?
When you click "Privacy Policy", can you see your email address?
When you click "Terms and Conditions", does the full document content appear?
Can you select a service, a time slot in the calendar, and proceed to the details form?
Is the "I accept the service terms and conditions" checkbox visible above the booking button?
If you answered YES to all questions – your page is ready for verification by the payment operator! 🎉
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Do I need to keep my booking page active permanently?
Yes, payment operators' terms require the "store website" to be active. However, you do not have to share the link with clients if you prefer to arrange appointments individually. The page must exist technically, though.
Can I use a ready-made terms and conditions template?
Yes, Mafelo has a terms and conditions creator prepared by lawyers. Remember to fill it in with your company details, however.
Why did the operator reject my application?
The most common reason is that one of the points listed in the "Verifying your settings" section is missing. Check whether your booking page truly meets all the requirements.
