  • No more manually sending payment details and checking transaction history in your bank account.

How to set up HotPay step by step

Before you start

⚠️Important: To activate your HotPay account, your booking page must have your own session terms and conditions, as well as meet several other requirements. Before proceeding to registration, complete all the steps described in our guide: Before you enable online payments.

Registering and adding a store in HotPay

  1. Go to the HotPay website using our referral link and create a new account.

  2. Log in to the HotPay dashboard. In the left-hand menu, select Online transfers and Blik, then click New store.

  3. Fill in the displayed form with the details of your Mafelo booking page:

  • Service name – enter your name, which will be visible to clients during payment (e.g. your surname or studio name).

  • Service description – briefly describe your services, e.g. "Conducting photo sessions and selling photos through the Mafelo portal".

  • URL address – provide the exact link to your booking page (e.g. yourstudio.mafelo.net).

  • Terms and conditions URL – paste the link that leads directly to the terms and conditions page on your website.

  2. Enter the same password in Mafelo in the Notification password field.

  3. Make sure that in the HotPay dashboard the Test mode field is set to Disabled.

  4. Save the changes by clicking Update at the bottom of the form in HotPay.

Making a test payment

To make sure the integration was successful, perform a test payment.

  1. In the Mafelo dashboard, in the HotPay configuration window, click the Check integration - test payment button.

  2. You will be redirected to the payment gateway to make a transfer of 2 PLN. If the entire process completes successfully, your payments are ready to go!
