  • A convenient and widely recognized payment method for your clients.

How to connect your PayPal account to Mafelo

For clients to start paying for galleries via PayPal, you first need to connect your account to Mafelo. Follow the steps below:

  1. In Mafelo, go to the Settings tab, then select Online Payments.

  2. In the PayPal section, click the Set up PayPal button.

  3. In the PayPal account email field, enter the email address associated with your PayPal account. This is the address where you will receive payments from clients.

  4. Save your changes. You can now enable the online payment option for your photo galleries!

⚠️Important: The email address entered in Mafelo must be your primary ("Primary") email address on your PayPal account. If you enter a different address, Mafelo will not be able to receive payment information and automatically mark the gallery as paid.

Frequently asked questions

Does Mafelo charge a commission for PayPal payments?

No, Mafelo does not charge any additional commission for online payments. Commissions are charged solely by the payment processors (in this case PayPal), in accordance with the pricing and rates specified in your agreement with that service.

Why wasn't the gallery marked as paid even though the client paid via PayPal?

The most common cause of a gallery not being marked as paid is a mismatch of email addresses. Make sure that the email address entered in Mafelo settings is marked as the primary ("Primary") address on your PayPal account. If the addresses differ, the system will not be able to link the payment to the order in Mafelo.
