Changing your email address in Mafelo is quick and easy. You can do it at any time in your account settings. Keep in mind that the new address will be used both for logging in and for receiving all important system notifications, such as new bookings or payment information.

How to Change Your Email Address in Mafelo
Log in to your account in the Mafelo app.
In the bottom-left corner of the main menu, click your username, then select My Profile from the expanded list.
On the profile page, find and click the Change email address button.
Enter your new email address and your current password, then confirm the changes by clicking the appropriate button.
Important: After entering the new email address, we will send a confirmation link to it. For the change to take effect, you must click that link. Until the change is confirmed, your old address remains your login and primary notification address.
Facebook Login and Changing Your Email Address
If you have been logging in using the Log in with Facebook button, and your Facebook account is linked to your old email address, you need to prepare for a change in how you log in.
Important: After changing the email address in the Mafelo panel, you will no longer be able to log in to your existing account using Facebook. If you try to do so, the system will treat you as a new user and create a completely empty account linked to Facebook. From now on, use your new email address and password to log in.
Tip: If you don't remember your password (because you always logged in via Facebook), use the password reset option on the login page before changing your email.

If you entered an incorrect email address, there's no need to worry. Since the change requires confirmation by clicking a link sent to the new address, the incorrect email will not be activated. Simply go through the change process again in the panel and enter the correct email address.
Will my clients be notified about the change of my email address?
No, the change of your login email address is only visible to you. It is used solely for account management and receiving notifications from the Mafelo system. When your clients reply to an email from the system, they will reach you at the address that was included in that email.
