When to use Post Office cash
Post Office cash vouchers let your recipient collect cash over the counter at any of around 11,500 Post Office branches. They support the highest denominations of any cash product Huggg offers - up to £4,000 per voucher.
For smaller amounts up to £100, PayPoint cash or OneLink Cash may suit your recipient better if they prefer collecting at a local shop. See: Which cash voucher should I send? for a full comparison.
Before you start: KYB
Post Office is a regulated product. You'll need to pass a Know-Your-Business (KYB) check for Post Office before you can send Post Office vouchers. The same KYB covers both Post Office cash and Post Office energy.
If you haven't yet passed Post Office KYB, email us at disbursements@huggg.me to start the process. It typically takes 3-5 working days to process a KYB form.

Pre-send checklist
Before you send a Post Office cash voucher, confirm:
Your organisation has passed Post Office KYB
Your recipient is able to collect in store at a Post Office branch
For large denominations, your recipient is aware that not all Post Office branches hold large amounts of cash and may want to call ahead to check
What to know
Supports the highest denominations. Post Office cash vouchers can be issued for amounts up to £4,000, in standard denominations (£10, £20, £30, £40, £50, £60, £70, £80, £90, £100, £150, £200, £250, £300) or custom amounts on request.
In-store, single transaction. Your recipient hands the voucher (on phone or printed) to the Post Office cashier and the cashier hands them the full amount. They cannot split the collection across multiple visits.
Large amounts may need a larger branch. Smaller Post Office branches may not hold enough cash on hand to pay out the largest vouchers. For vouchers over a few hundred pounds, it can be worth your recipient calling ahead to check, or using a main Post Office branch in a town centre.
Single use. The voucher can only be used once and will expire on the date shown.
Common issues and what to do

Barcode won't scan at the till | Recipient should ask the cashier to enter the voucher number manually. If they're still having problems, email support@huggg.me. |
How your recipient collects the cash
