The collapsible left-navigation menu can be pinned/unpinned and appears on any MEE screen. It displays the following information:

|
Timeline
The timeline is positioned at the top of the MEE home page and displays the What's Happening Timeline events configured for the selected assignment. When an event icon is clicked on, event details are displayed in a modal based on the What's Happening Timeline events configuration. When the modal is no longer required it can be closed and the home page is displayed.
The visible period on the the timeline (e.g. Oct 29 - Dec 23) is displayed in the header and updates automatically based on the selected zoom view level. There are a total of 6 different zoom 🔍 views levels available:
Daily · 3 Days · Weekly · 2 Weeks · Monthly · 2 Months
Depending on the level selected, the distance between two blocks of time will change. The number of visible blocks of time on screen will depend on the screen resolution.
The timeline header and the events that appear on the timeline including icons are all customizable.
Notifications
Notifications are displayed when the notification bell icon is clicked. New notifications are identified with a red colored badge with a number indicating the count of new notifications since the last time the user clicked on the bell icon
. Once the icon is clicked the badge disappears.
The source of notifications are:
Quick Workflows - Automation Media Delivery Event (used to deliver "MEE Help" files)
A notification is shown as Unread by a blue dot indicator. The blue dot indicator will change if the "Mark All Read" is clicked. Notifications can be dismissed (deleted) by hovering over the notification and clicking on the X icon to the right of the notification. Assignment details will be included on notifications when the user has more than one active assignment. When there is only one active assignment, no assignment details are displayed.
Notifications can contain information only and will not redirect the user.
If a notification displays a redirect icon (
), clicking the icon will redirect the user to a new location in the MEE.
Tasks
The Tasks area is located below the timeline and displays Checklists and Assignment Tasks & Reminders providing a user with a list of tasks/items they need to complete. Tasks & Reminders can be created by the user or on behalf of the employee. There are 3 collapsible sections:
Now - tasks that are overdue or due in the next 7 days
Next - tasks that are due in the next 8 to 14 days
Later - tasks that are due in the next 15 days or greater
The Now section is expanded by default. Note only one section can be expanded at a time. Within each section there is a a badge with a count for the number of tasks in that section. In the Now section, either a red or yellow badge appears. If there it at least one overdue item the badge is red otherwise it is yellow. Blue badges are used for the Next and Later sections. To view the tasks in an collapsed section, click on that section to expand it.
The Tasks area includes an ellipsis icon (
) which displays additional options:

Subscribe to a Calendar - allows users to add tasks and dates to their personal calendars
Section Detail
Overdue tasks appear at the top of the list in the Now section and are indicated with a red vertical line before the text. When a user clicks on tasks with blue text, the user is redirected to an external website. Depending on how the task is configured, tasks can be completed manually or automatically.

Once the action is performed, the task is considered complete and will no longer appear in the Tasks area. Note, some tasks will open Questionnaires instead of a MEE screen. These tasks will automatically complete after the Questionnaire is submitted.
