What the Master Profile overview shows

The cards on the Master Profile Overview: the AI guest summary, lifetime nights and spend, profile completion, the linked records, and recent activity.

A Master Profile opens on Overview: a single screen that answers who this guest is, how much they are worth to you, and what has happened lately. It gathers the records Bookboost has linked for that guest, so the figures describe the person rather than one booking. For how the linking works, see Master Profile.

Where to find it

  1. Go to Profiles in the left menu and open Guests.

  2. Find the guest and select their name to open the profile.

  3. Select the Sub-profile of link at the top of the profile.

The Master Profile opens with a Master badge next to the guest's name, and the email address and phone number Bookboost has resolved for them across every linked record. Those resolved values are the ones campaigns use. For how they are chosen, see Master Profile.

The cards on the Overview

  • Guest insights. A short AI-written summary of the guest's patterns and preferences, with Summarized by AI, check for accuracy. beneath it. See Guest insights in the Master Profile.

  • Total nights. The guest's lifetime nights across every reservation on the linked records.

  • Total spending. The lifetime total from those same reservations, in your account currency.

  • Completion. How complete the guest's contact details are, as a percentage each for first name, last name, email address, and phone number. A gap here is usually why a guest is hard to reach, or why their records have not linked.

  • Sub-profiles. The records linked into this Master Profile, with the contact details each one holds. See all opens the full list.

  • Latest ticket. The most recent conversation with the guest, across every linked record.

  • Reservations. The next few reservations with their status, for example Expected. See all opens the full list.

  • Campaigns. What the guest has recently been sent. Empty reads No campaigns yet.

  • Submissions. The forms the guest has submitted. Empty reads No submissions available.

The other tabs

Each tab shows how many records it holds, so you can see at a glance whether there is anything behind it.

  • Sub-profiles lists the linked records in a table, so you can see which record holds which details.

  • Reservations, Campaigns and Submissions show the full history behind the Overview cards, gathered across every linked record.

  • Consents shows every consent the guest holds and which record it belongs to. See Consent overview in the Master Profile.

What you can do with it

  • Judge a guest's value before you act. Lifetime nights and spend in one glance, rather than adding up bookings.

  • See why a guest is hard to reach. The Completion card shows which contact detail is missing.

  • Check what has already been sent. The Campaigns and Latest ticket cards, before someone contacts the guest again.

What this does not do

  • You cannot edit anything here. The Master Profile is a view. Details are changed on the record they came from. See Editing a guest profile.

  • The figures cover linked records only. If a duplicate of the guest was never linked, its nights and spend are not counted here. See Merge two guest profiles.

  • Completion measures four fields, not data quality. A profile can be 100% complete and still hold a misspelled name.

  • It is not sent back to your PMS. The Master Profile exists in Bookboost.
