Navigating the overview tab in Market Intelligence

The Overview tab shows the broadest data based on your applied filters.

The Overview tab opens as default when entering Market Intelligence (MI). If you have navigated away from MI you can resume by selecting Overview under the Market Intelligence heading.

The overview data provides the key top level insights that are drilled down further in the charts below.

The figures show the current year in the largest text with historical data provided below.

Don’t forget this data is based on the filters you have set via the Filters button.

These charts begin to drill down from the overall number of published procurements that was displayed in the overview figures above.

Now you can make comparisons between years and CPV types. As well as viewing the proportions of procurements with framework agreements, threshold types and award criteria.

The chart for Number of Published Procurements can be drilled down to quarters, months, weeks, days and even hours. Right click and select Drill down to… to make more precise analysis.

This section gives you access to competitor (Supplier) and potential customer (Buyer) information.

With the Number of Bids column you can view the most active competition as well as the most successful with Number of Contracts Awarded.

For buyers, Number of Tenders Published shows those with the most activity with the highest at the top of the list. You can also view which organisations have received the most interest from their tenders with Average Number of Bidders Per Tender column.

Now you have reached the most detailed level of data. From this table you can read the qualitative specifics of individual procurements that have been captured and summarised above. By clicking Link you will open the full procurement details.
