The export option in Mafelo is a feature designed to speed up your workflow as much as possible after your client has finished selecting their photos. Instead of opening the gallery on one monitor and manually searching for individual files to edit on another, the system lets you automatically generate and locate the complete list of ordered shots on your computer.

How does order export work?
All export options can be found in the panel of a specific gallery, under the Client Orders tab. Below the list of orders there are two buttons:
Export photos – use this option to locate the files selected by the client on your disk (e.g. RAW files) for further retouching in a photo editing application.
Export prints – use this option to generate a clear list of files along with their assigned formats and quantities, ideal for sending to a photo lab.
Important: For any export to work correctly and find the right files on your computer:
Files uploaded to the gallery in Mafelo must have exactly the same names as your original files (e.g. RAW) on your disk. The file extensions themselves (e.g. .jpg, .cr2, .arw) do not matter.
Make sure your file names do not contain spaces, special characters, or characters specific to non-English alphabets (e.g.
&,").

What if I use a different editing application?
If you use editing software other than those listed (or if you accidentally uploaded files to the gallery with special characters or spaces in their names), we recommend using Export to Mafelo Desktop.
This is our dedicated application, through which the system will automatically create a separate folder on your disk with copies of the photos to be edited or the prints to be developed. The folder prepared this way can then be loaded into any photo editing application on the market or into your print lab's panel.

Can I export photos from multiple galleries at once?
No. Currently, export from Mafelo is assigned to a specific gallery. The file list must be generated separately for each individual gallery.
