What are the policies for rent payments, including payment schedules and adjustments?

Updated this week

Understanding the policies for rent payments is essential for tenants to avoid misunderstandings and late fees. Below are the key guidelines regarding payment schedules and adjustments at LIV Residential.

Rent payment schedules

  • Full-Month cycles only: When providing notice, rent is charged in full-month periods. Payments always run until the end of the month (e.g., the 30th or 31st). Tenants cannot request a mid-month end date for rent liability.

  • Standard debit date: Rent payments are debited on the 1st of each month. The debit date is fixed and cannot be adjusted to another date such as the 28th of the preceding month.

Rationale behind policies

These policies are designed to ensure consistent operations and fair treatment for all tenants, minimizing administrative inconsistencies. By adhering to end-of-month rent cycles and standard debit dates, tenants and LIV Residential can maintain smooth financial and operational processes.
