Use this method to have Huggg send your voucher links directly to your recipients' mobile phones by text message.
Follow steps 1 to 3 of How to send a welfare voucher: overview first, then continue below.
Step 4: Select your delivery method
On the delivery method screen, select SMS, sent by Huggg.
Step 5: Add your recipients
Enter your recipients' mobile numbers one at a time and click Add recipient after each one. To add several at once, click Bulk upload recipient details and upload a CSV file. Check everything over, then click Next.
Step 6: Set the expiry date
Choose the date on which the voucher link will expire. Recipients must open and claim their voucher before this date.
Step 7: Schedule or send now
Choose to send immediately, or schedule the send for a future date and time.
Step 8: Review and pay
Check your order summary, select a Reason code if applicable, and complete payment from your wallet balance or by card.
Once payment is confirmed, Huggg sends each recipient a text message containing their unique voucher link. The message appears to come from Huggg.
Tips
Mobile numbers must be UK numbers and formatted correctly. Check for any missing digits before submitting.
Recipients without a smartphone can still receive the SMS but will need a device to open the link. See What if I don't have a smartphone or internet access?
