Use this method to have Huggg send your voucher links directly to your recipients' mobile phones by text message.
Follow steps 1-3 of the How to send a welfare voucher - overview first, then continue below.
Step 4 - Select your delivery method
On the delivery method screen, select SMS, sent by Huggg.
Step 5 - Add your recipients
Enter your recipients' mobile numbers one at a time and click Add recipient after each one. Alternatively, click Bulk upload recipient details to upload a CSV file containing multiple numbers at once. Check everything over, then click Next
Step 6 - Set the expiry date
Choose the date on which the voucher link will expire. Recipients must open and claim their voucher before this date.
Step 7 - Schedule or send now
Choose to send immediately or schedule the send for a future date and time.
Step 8 - Review and pay
Check your order summary, select a Reason code if applicable, and complete payment from your wallet balance or by card.
Once payment is confirmed, Huggg will send each recipient a text message containing their unique voucher link. The message will appear to come from Huggg.
Tips
Mobile numbers must be UK numbers and formatted correctly - check for any missing digits before submitting
Recipients without a smartphone can still receive the SMS but will need a device to open the link - see: What if I don't have a smartphone or internet access? in the Redeeming Vouchers section
