What if I don't have a smartphone or internet access?

How to access and use your welfare voucher without a smartphone, mobile data, or home internet - including options for printing and getting help from your sender.

Not everyone has easy access to a smartphone or the internet. Here are your options for using your voucher without one.

If you don't have a smartphone or internet at all

Contact the organisation that sent your voucher, for example your council, school, or charity, and ask if they can provide a printed version. Many senders can print vouchers and post or hand-deliver them to people who can't access them digitally.

If you have a smartphone but no mobile data

  1. Connect to Wi-Fi first, then open your voucher link and let it fully load

  2. Once it's loaded, take a screenshot of the voucher screen. You can show this in store even without an internet connection

  3. Make sure the barcode is clearly visible in your screenshot before you head out

You can also open your voucher using free Wi-Fi at a library, supermarket, or community centre if you don't have Wi-Fi at home.

If you have a computer but not a smartphone

You can open your voucher link on any computer with internet access, at home, at a library, or at a friend's house. From there, print the voucher page to take into the store. Printed barcodes work just as well as digital ones at the till.
