elasticStage allows you to make your release available for purchase before its official release date.
Here’s how to enable pre-orders.
Step 1: Set Your Pre-Order Date
When creating or editing your release, go to the Metadata tab.
Here, you can select a Pre-Order Date. This determines when fans can begin placing orders before the official release date.
Once the pre-order date is reached, your product will become purchasable via its Release Group link.
Step 2: Set Your Official Release Date
Your Release Date determines when the release is considered officially live.
Orders placed during the pre-order period will enter production according to your release settings and production timelines.
Step 3: Choose Whether Previews Are Available
When enabling pre-orders, you can decide whether track previews are available before release.
If enabled, fans can listen to preview clips on the pre-order page.
If disabled, previews will remain hidden until the release date.
To disable previews, select Disable Pre-Order Previews in the Metadata tab.
Important
Pre-orders only become visible once your release is attached to a Release Group.
Always review your release in the 3D preview and confirm your dates before publishing.
