Choosing Your Format, Adding Metadata & Setting Your Price
Creating a release on elasticStage is simple. In this guide, we’ll walk you through choosing your release type, entering your metadata, and setting your retail price.

Step 1: Create a New Release
Click “Create Release” to begin.
Step 2: Choose Your Release Type
Select the format you want to create:
Vinyl (Single/EP or Album)
CD (Single/EP or Album)
Your choice determines:
Track limits
Duration limits
Packaging options
Optional booklet availability

Step 3: Enter Your Metadata
Add your:
Release title
Artist name
Track titles
ISRC codes (if applicable)
Genre
Release date
Accurate metadata ensures:

Step 4: Set Your Retail Price
You control your retail price.
Consider:
Your audience
Format (vinyl vs CD)
Market positioning
