It is normal for Insights and PMS figures to differ. The two systems measure related but not identical things. The confirmed reasons are below.
Reason 1: Broadcast revenue is multi-touch
The total attributed revenue column on the Marketing Dashboard counts each booking against every broadcast the guest received in the 30-day window. The PMS counts the booking once. See Broadcast revenue: how the number is calculated today.
Reason 2: Shiji and Clock PMS occupancy
Shiji and Clock PMS do not store space availability data. Adjusted occupancy is not available in Insights for accounts on these systems. Other reservation metrics work as normal.
When to escalate
If the gap between Insights and your PMS is material and none of the above explains it, raise a ticket. See Getting support for Insights. Include the dashboard or tile, the filters and date range applied, and a screenshot if you have one.
