Your operator profile

Setting your display name, changing your password, and seeing the role and property access an Admin has given you.

Your profile controls how your name appears to colleagues beside your replies, and it is where you change your password. It also shows your role and property access, which only an Admin can alter.

Find it under Settings > Operators, then open your own profile.

Your display name

Fill in First name and Last name. Both are optional.

The First name and Last name fields on your profile

Leaving First name empty has a visible side effect. The avatar that would show your initials falls back to the two characters on either side of the @ in your email address, so an address like anna@hotel.com shows as "ah" instead of your initials.

Your password

The Password and Confirm password fields are on the same screen. You do not need your current password to set a new one while you are logged in, and the two fields must match or the change will not save.

If you cannot log in at all, use the reset flow instead. See Changing or resetting your password.

Your role and properties

Your profile also lists the role or roles you hold and the properties you can reach. Both are read-only unless you are an Admin.

If something you expect to see is missing, that is usually the answer: either your role does not include that section, or the property is not on your list. See Operator roles and Accessible Apps, then ask an Admin in your account.

What this does not do

  • You cannot change your own role or property access. Only an Admin can, including for themselves.

  • You cannot change your login email here. Contact support if the address on your account is wrong or no longer reachable.

  • Your display name is not what guests see. Outgoing email carries your from address and signature, not this field.

  • You cannot invite colleagues from here. Adding an operator is an Admin action. See Adding and managing operators.

What to do next

If you send email to guests, add a signature while you are here. The steps are in Adding and managing operators.
