🔐 Logging into the Sam Tool Manager (STM)

You can log in to the STM in two ways:

  • 🆔 With username → Enter your username and password.

  • 🎫 With RFID badge → Swipe your badge in front of the reader, and you’ll be instantly logged in!

💡 Tip: If your badge isn’t recognized, make sure it’s properly assigned to your account.


🔄 Assigning an RFID Badge to a User

If you need to assign an RFID badge to a user, follow the procedure described in the official guide:

⚠️ Requirements for Assigning a Badge

Internet Connection: The machine must be connected to the internet after creating or modifying a user (e.g., adding/modifying badges).
Software Update: Make sure the STM machine is running the latest version to ensure proper functionality.

💡 If you're unsure, check both the internet connection and the STM version before making any changes.


⚠️ "Unknown User" Error

If you see this message while trying to log in to the STM, here’s what to check:

🔍 1. Check the associated company
➡️ Make sure the user is linked to the correct company in the STS.

🔍 2. Check the STM software version
➡️ The STM machine must be updated with the latest available version.

🔍 3. Check the internet connection
➡️ Ensure the machine is connected to the internet, especially after creating or editing a user.

🔍 4. Check the user ID
➡️ Confirm that the ID entered during login matches the one registered when the user was created in the STS.

🔍 5. Check the RFID badge
➡️ Verify that the badge number registered in the STS matches the one being used to log in.
