Through this procedure, we will see how to return an item.
Note: An item can only be returned if it has been defined as non-consumable.
I. Returning an Item
To return an item, start by scanning your badge on the reader. You will then be directed to the homepage shown below.
Once on this page, press the "Return" button to return your item.
After this, you will be directed to the page shown below.
(It is also possible to return an item previously taken by a colleague. To do so, simply press "For someone else" and select the item. The procedure then remains the same.)
Once on this page, please select the item to be returned. In this example, we will demonstrate the return of a DYTC torque wrench.
After selecting your item, press "Return" at the top right of the screen. The machine will then prompt you to indicate the condition of the returned item, as shown in the example below.
Once on this page, you will be able to confirm the condition of the product you wish to return.
If your torque wrench is functional and in good condition, press "Good Condition".
If the wrench is damaged or no longer works, press "Blocking Condition". This will prevent the wrench from being taken until it is repaired or replaced. Your supervisor will also be notified of its status.
Additionally, you can add a comment—for example, if the tool is functional but very dirty, slightly damaged, or out of battery.
Note: This status is not blocking, meaning the item can still be taken by another operator.
Finally, the compartment will open, allowing you to return your item, as shown in the example below.
Once the item is placed in the compartment, close it. Your return will then be successfully recorded.
You can then proceed with a new action (taking and/or returning an item) or log out.
Note: Once the time has elapsed, you will be automatically logged out of the machine.
