1. What is the X'Tower?
The X'Tower is a vending machine designed for single-unit distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), industrial supplies, and consumables, directly near the workstations.


2. What are the advantages of the X'Tower?

  • Reduced waste and overconsumption

3. What is the X'Tower's storage capacity?
The X'Tower comes in three models with 36 total configuration options:

4. How does the X'Tower work?

  • User identification via personal badge

  • Product selection through a touchscreen

  • Automatic door opening for item retrieval

  • Option to return an item with documented input/output


5. How long does it take to retrieve an item?
Less than 10 seconds.


6. Can the compartments be customized to meet specific needs?
Yes, they can be configured based on usage frequency and specific requirements.


7. How do I install an X'Tower?

8. The carousel compartments are misaligned after item retrieval, what should I do?
Restart the X'Tower using the on/off button located on the top of the machine or via the touchscreen.
The carousel will recalibrate automatically on startup.


9. The carousel spins freely; operators can turn it manually. What should I do?
Try to re-index the indexing arm. To access it:

  • Open the left door of the machine

  • Reach through the top duct above the carousel to access the indexing rod

➡️ If the carousel is freely turning, the rod will be lifted like this:

To reposition it:

  • Slightly lift the rod

  • Pull it toward you to lock it back in place

The carousel will then be locked again.


10. The error message "Carousel blocked" appears on the machine. What should I do?

Step 1 – Carousel inspection:

  • Open the left door

  • Check that no item is stuck or protruding

Step 2 – Restart the machine:

  • Restart your X'Tower

  • Perform a test retrieval to check carousel movement

Step 3 – Check the indexer:

  • Remove the safety cover

  • Check the condition of the indexer (bent rod, blockage, etc.)

  • Take photos or even a short video if necessary

11. My carousel remains in “infinite configuration” mode ("carousel configuration in progress"), what should I do?


This likely indicates a broken or damaged Zeroing sensor above the carousel.

230V - 50 Hz EU power socket

22. Do you offer consumption audits?
Yes, a sales representative can conduct a consumption audit and product usage analysis.


23. What additional services are included?

24. What do the modem LEDs mean?

  • Left LED (PWR): solid = power is ON. If OFF → check power supply or modem

  • Right LED (NET): solid = connection is active

  • If both are not lit as described → check cables or contact the hotline


25. I want to change the antenna extension cable. How do I do that?

26. I swipe my badge and get no beep or sound. What should I do?

Possible causes:

  1. The badge reader is not connected properly → check connections to the PC

  2. The badge is using an unsupported technology → contact the hotline and share the badge type

  3. The reader is defective → refer to: Replace Badge Reader | SAM OUTILLAGE


27. Which mobile operator is used for SIM cards?
The SIM operates in multi-operator mode, meaning it automatically connects to the network with the best available signal.
