What is Pharmacy Delivery?

Pharmacy Delivery offers your patients via the app / web the option of delivery direct from your pharmacy to your patient via your own delivery service.

You can choose to switch Pharmacy Delivery on or off and only offer it when you are comfortable.

There is a new Settings section in the Portal in the header where you can choose to turn Pharmacy Delivery on or off.

In this section you will see two types of patients -

Your patients – these are patients that you have recruited through the In Store Activation journey, so they will have signed up for the app with the QR code or ODS code.

Marketing patients – these are patients that have chosen your pharmacy on the app / web but have not come through the In Store Activation route, so they could have been driven from a Marketing / TV campaign.

You have the ability to turn these two patients types on and off independently with specific settings for each

Delivery Radius

The Delivery radius in Settings puts you in control of how far away from your pharmacy you want to offer delivery.

You have the ability to set your delivery radius for your two patient types: Your patients and Marketing patients.

Once you have activated delivery for your patient type, you can then click the drop down in Delivery radius and chose the radius that is best for your pharmacy and press save.

The default radius for both patients types is 3 miles.

Once you have selected delivery your patients will be able to choose pharmacy delivery in the app and web and you should start to see orders for Delivery - with the little green truck showing in the portal.
