The minimum rental period of a rental agreement varies by contract type.
Rental period for a rental property
A property always has a minimum rental period of 12 calendar months. It is not possible to terminate the rental agreement during these first 12 months after the start date.
After these 12 months, you, as a tenant, can terminate the agreement on a monthly basis. Always keep in mind the one-month notice period.
For example: if you terminate the agreement on February 12th, the earliest possible end date is March 31st.
Rental period for a parking space or garage
A parking space or garage has no minimum rental period. The tenant and LIV Residential can terminate it monthly, with a one-month notice period.
