What do I do if my prepaid card is lost or stolen?

How to cancel your digital prepaid energy or water card if you think it has been lost, stolen or compromised - and how to request a replacement.

Because your card is digital, it can only be accessed through the original link - there is no physical card to lose. However, if you believe your card details have been seen by someone else or you're concerned it may have been compromised, you should cancel it straight away.

How to cancel your card

Open your original voucher link. On the main card screen, below the See card details button, you will see a Report card as compromised button. Click this to immediately cancel the card. Clicking this will immediately cancel the card and prevent it from being used.

Getting a replacement

Once a card has been cancelled, we are not able to reinstate it. Please contact the organisation that sent you the card - for example, your council, school, or charity - and ask if they are able to issue a new one. This will be at their discretion.
