Your PayPoint voucher lets you top up your gas or electricity prepayment meter at any PayPoint location in the UK. There are around 28,000 PayPoint outlets, in convenience stores, newsagents, and supermarkets.
β
π Before you go
Find your nearest PayPoint at paypoint.com/store-locator.
Make sure you take with you:
Your voucher. Open it on your phone or print the page to take with you.
Your gas card, electricity key, or smart meter card. The cashier needs this to apply the credit.
β
πͺ At the PayPoint location
Hand your voucher to the cashier. They will scan the barcode or key in the voucher number.
The cashier will top up your energy device to the value of the voucher.
You will receive a receipt confirming the transaction.
β
β οΈ Expiry and limits
Your PayPoint voucher is valid for 30 days from the date you claim it. If you do not use it within 30 days, the voucher is cancelled and the money returned to the organisation that sent it. You will then need to contact them to request a new one.
PayPoint energy vouchers are also capped at Β£49. If you have been sent more than that, your sender will have created more than one voucher to cover the total.
