I tried to redeem my voucher in store but it failed, what can I do?

Updated over 2 months ago

If you visited a Post Office branch and experienced any of the below outcomes, please contact the organisations provided.

Please note: The Post Office voucher is redeemable in a singular transaction only. You can split the balance in one transaction but you cannot part-redeem and revisit the store to claim the remaining balance at a later date.

You will also need to make sure that you have enough free credit space on your account before topping up in a Post Office branch, as the voucher will fail if you do not.

  • Meter top-up failed:

    - If a Post Office branch fails to top up your card, please contact the Post Office here to investigate further. Be sure to make a note of the store address & the time/date visited.

    - If the Post Office cannot top up your card due to there not being enough free credit space on your account, please contact our Customer Support team at support@huggg.me. We'll require your Huggg link and store receipt (or the address of the store and time/date visited if you do not have a receipt).

    - If your energy card fails to add credit to your meter, please contact your energy provider to investigate further.

  • Incorrect cash given: Please contact the Post Office branch that you visited and provide a copy of your receipt for reference.

  • Voucher part redeemed: Please contact the sender of your link (either a council or charity) to explain what happened and provide a copy of your receipt for reference. It will be at their discretion to issue a replacement voucher.
