Two ways to export project data
Eturnity Expert offers two different ways to export your project data as a CSV file, depending on whether you need data from multiple projects at once or from a single project.
Project list export: Exports selected projects, the current page, or all projects that match the filters and search, directly from the table of the Project Overview—ideal for ERP imports, reporting, or bulk analysis.
Project Variant Export: Exports the data of the active variant of an open project via the Export data page—ideal when you want to transfer the data of a specific project variant into another piece of software.

Prerequisites
Table: The project list export is only available in a view of the type Table, not in a Kanban board.
Project access: You need viewing permission for the projects you want to export. Some users only see and export projects they are assigned to as Project Manager.
Licence: The project list export depends on your licence. If your licence does not include it, the checkboxes in the first column of the table are missing.
Project list export from the Project Overview
Use this method when you need data from multiple projects at once.
Open Projects (the Project Overview). Without saved views, you see the table straight away; otherwise select the tab of a view of the type Table. If you have only saved Kanban boards, use Create view to create a view of the type Table.
Optionally set filters or enter a search term to narrow down the projects you need. Export All will later take both into account.
Select the projects you want using the checkboxes in the first column. Once at least one project is checked, an action bar with export options appears.
Choose one of the following options:
Export: exports only the individually checked projects
Export Page: appears when you check the header checkbox, and exports all projects on the currently loaded page
Export All: also appears when the header checkbox is checked, and exports all projects that match your filters and your search, across all pages (at most 10,000 projects)
In the window that opens, choose the desired Field separator (Semicolon or Comma) and Quoted text setting (Double quotes or Single quotes).
Click Export. Once the file is ready, click Download document to save the CSV file.
Tip: The header checkbox only checks the projects loaded on the current page at first. Use Export All to capture all projects that match your filters and your search—even across multiple pages.
Project Variant Export via the Export data page
Use this method when you want to export the data of a single project variant you already have open.
Open the project you need and, at the top of the header, select the variant you want to export in the selection field showing the variant name. This makes it the active variant; the export always applies to it.
Navigate to Export data in the project menu (in the new navigation in the Integrations group).
In the Project Variant Export section, click Download CSV.
The CSV file downloads directly.
Tip: If your licence includes the ERP/CRM integration, you can also transfer the data from the same page to a connected ERP system, currently Bexio, which is only available to companies in Switzerland. For this, each user connects their own Bexio account under Settings > Integrations > ERP/CRM (in the new navigation: Settings › Other section › ERP/CRM). Webhooks and the API are set up for your company by Eturnity Support (support@eturnity.com or via chat); with this licence, you will also find a note about this on the ERP/CRM page in the Webhooks/API section. Both options automate data exchange and often replace the manual CSV export.
What the CSV file contains
Both export types take into account your project data, including any freely definable technologies your company has configured in the settings. The project list export contains one row per project variant, i.e. all variants of each exported project, with summarised overview data, while the Project Variant Export includes the detailed data of a single variant—including article and service line items. The table below shows which information is included in which export.

Common use cases
ERP import: Bring project data into your accounting or ERP software without typing it in manually.
Reporting and analysis: Open the CSV file in Excel or Google Sheets to build your own analyses, pivot tables, or dashboards.
Status reports for customers or management: Export filtered project lists—for example, all projects owned by a specific Project Manager or in a specific status—for recurring reports.
Data transfer to other systems: Export a single project variant to move its data into another internal tool or a partner system.
Troubleshooting
I don't see any export options in the Project Overview
Cause: You are in a Kanban board instead of a view of the type Table, no project is checked yet, or your licence does not include the project list export; in that case the checkboxes in the first column are missing entirely.
Solution: At the top, select the tab of a view of the type Table. If you have only saved Kanban boards, use Create view to create a view of the type Table. Then check at least one project using the checkbox in the first column. If the checkboxes are missing entirely, your licence does not include the project list export; contact Eturnity Support (support@eturnity.com or chat).
"Export All" contains fewer projects than expected
Cause: Active filters or text in the search field are narrowing down the exported set of projects. In addition, Export All exports at most 10,000 projects and only projects that you are allowed to see.
Solution: Review the active filters and the search field in the Project Overview and clear them if needed before exporting again.
I can't find the "Export data" page in the project menu
Cause: In the new navigation, Export data is not directly in the project menu but in the Integrations group.
