Setting your brand fonts

Choose the typeface for headings, paragraphs, and buttons in your guest app, so every page is styled the same way without you formatting anything by hand.

Your guest app uses three text styles: headings, paragraphs, and buttons. Pick a typeface for each one in your Brand Library and every page picks it up, so nobody has to restyle pages one at a time.

Worth knowing before you start: fonts set here apply to your guest app. Text styling inside an email campaign is set in the email builder, on the block you are editing.

Before you start

  • You are an admin. Other operators cannot open or edit the Brand Library.

  • You know whether you are setting fonts for your Default kit or for one property. See Setting up your Brand Library if you are not sure which to edit.

  • You have your font file to hand if you plan to upload your own typeface.

How to change your fonts

  1. Click Settings in the left menu, then Brand library.

  2. Choose the kit you want to edit.

  3. Open Fonts.

  4. Click the style you want to change: Headings, Paragraphs, or Buttons.

  5. Choose a Font family. The list is searchable, so type the first few letters rather than scrolling.

What you can change, and what you cannot

You choose the font family and the style. Size and weight are handled by the guest app's own design, so that pages stay readable on a phone, and those are not yours to set.

Each of the three styles applies everywhere it is used. Changing Headings changes every heading in your guest app at once, rather than one page at a time.

Starting from a font package

If you would rather not choose three typefaces yourself, scroll down to the pre-built font packages and pick one. Filter them by Serif or Sans-serif to narrow the list.

Using your own typeface

To use a font that is not in the list, click Add fonts and attach the font file from your computer. Accepted formats are .ttf and .otf, up to 2 MB per file.

Once uploaded, the font appears in the Font family list and you assign it to a text style in the usual way.

Known limitations

  • Brand fonts do not reach email campaigns. They apply to your guest app. Campaign text styling is set in the email builder.

  • Size and weight are fixed. You set the family and the style only.

  • Three styles, applied globally. Headings, paragraphs, and buttons each take one typeface across the whole guest app.

Common questions

Will my brand typeface show up in my email campaigns?
No. Brand fonts apply to your guest app. In a campaign you set text styling in the email builder on the block you are editing.

Can I make my headings bigger?
Not here. Size is set by the guest app's design so that pages stay readable on a phone.

What font files can I upload?
.ttf and .otf files, up to 2 MB each.

Do I have to set fonts for every property?
No. Set them on your Default kit and each property inherits from it. Give a property its own fonts only when it needs to differ.

Do I need to save?
No. Changes to the Brand Library save automatically as you make them.
