If your team adjusts the font on every email before sending, you can set it once instead. Choose a default font, size and weight in your Inbox settings, and every new email composed in the Unified Inbox starts with that styling. You can still change the font on any individual message when you need to.
Admin only. These are organisation-wide settings, so they sit in the Organisation section and only admins can change them.
How it works
Set it once. The default applies to every new email composed in the Unified Inbox, by every Operator in the organisation.
Override per message. You can still change the font, size and weight on an individual email before you send it.
Consistent outgoing email. New messages start with the same styling, which helps keep guest emails on brand.
How to set your default font
1. Go to your Inbox settings.
2. Open Organisation.
3. Under Text style, choose your Font, Font size and Font weight.
There is no Save button on this page. Each choice applies as soon as you select it, and new emails composed from then on start with the new styling.
The options
Font. Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, Trebuchet Ms, Times New Roman, Georgia, Garamond, Courier New, or Brush Script Mt.
Font size. 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 24, 28 or 32 px.
Font weight. Regular, Medium, Semi bold or Bold.
To clear a default, choose No font, No font size or No font weight. New emails then start with the editor's own styling instead. You can clear one without clearing the others.
Known limitations
Existing drafts are not restyled. Emails you had already started before setting the default keep their original styling.
Inbox email only. Campaigns, SMS and WhatsApp are unaffected. Campaign fonts are set separately in your Brand Library.
One set of defaults per organisation. You cannot set a different font per property or per Operator.
Common questions
Can I still change the font on a single email?
Yes. The default is a starting point. You can adjust the font, size and weight on any individual message before sending.
Where is the Save button?
There isn't one. Each dropdown on the Organisation page applies immediately.
Does this change my other channels, such as SMS or WhatsApp?
No. It applies to emails composed in the Unified Inbox only.
What else is in the Organisation section?
Your organisation's translation provider. See Choosing your translation provider.
