Recurring Broadcasts let you build a Broadcast once and have Bookboost send it automatically on a schedule you choose. Instead of recreating the same weekly newsletter or monthly promotion by hand, you set a cadence, pick your audience, and each send goes out on its own. You can update the content between sends, so the next occurrence always stays relevant.
How it works
Build once, send on a schedule. Create a Broadcast as usual, then set it to repeat. Bookboost handles every upcoming send automatically.
Choose your cadence. Repeat daily, every weekday, weekly on a chosen day, monthly, annually, or on a custom schedule.
Edit between sends. Update the message whenever you need to, and the next scheduled send picks up your changes.
Pair it with a dynamic audience. Use a dynamic date filter such as "Today" or "This week", so each send targets the guests who match at that moment rather than a fixed list.
Before you start
You have created the Broadcast. If you have not, see Create a broadcast first, then come back here for the schedule.
You know the cadence you want, for example every Monday, or the first day of each month.
You have an audience ready. For sends that should always reach current guests, plan to use a dynamic date filter.
If the audience is large, check your sending limit before you schedule. See Set up a Broadcast.
How to set up a recurring broadcast
Open the Broadcast you want to repeat. See Create a broadcast if you still need to create it.
On the 1. Time step, choose Schedule for later.
Set the date and time of the first send. This is when the first occurrence goes out. The time is in the property's time zone, not yours, so if you are working from a different country to the property, hover over the question mark icon to see the difference and confirm you have the right moment.
Turn on Repeat and choose a recurring option.
Select your audience, then add your message content.
Continue to Review & Publish and publish.
Bookboost sends the Broadcast on your chosen schedule.
Recurring options
When you turn on Repeat, you can choose:
Daily, every day at the set time.
Every weekday, Monday to Friday.
Weekly on a chosen day, the same weekday each week, based on your start date.
Monthly on a chosen day, for example the first Monday of each month, or a set date.
Annually, once a year on the same date.
Custom, to define your own frequency when the presets do not fit.
Editing a broadcast between sends
You do not need to rebuild the campaign for each occurrence. Open the recurring Broadcast, update its content, and the change applies to the next scheduled send. This makes it easy to keep a weekly newsletter or a seasonal offer current while the schedule keeps running.
Common use cases
Daily birthday messages. Repeat daily and use a birthday audience filter set to "Today", so the message reaches only the guests celebrating that day.
Weekly newsletter. Repeat weekly on your chosen day to keep guests up to date on a regular rhythm.
Monthly promotions. Repeat monthly for a recurring offer or seasonal campaign.
Operational updates. Repeat on the cadence that suits announcements like opening hours, amenities, or renovation notices.
In-house messaging. Pair a daily or weekly schedule with the "Guest is in Hotel" filter and a dynamic date option, so each send reaches whoever is staying at that moment.
Common questions
Do I have to rebuild the broadcast for every send? No. You build it once and set it to repeat. Bookboost sends each occurrence automatically on your schedule.
Can I change the content between sends? Yes. Edit the Broadcast and your changes apply to the next scheduled send.
Will each send reach current guests, or a fixed list? That depends on your audience. Use a dynamic date filter such as "Today" or "This week", so the audience recalculates on every run and targets the guests who match at that moment.
What time zone does it send in? The property's time zone, not yours. Hover over the question mark icon next to the time to see the difference if you are working from another country.
How do I change or stop a recurring broadcast? Open the Broadcast to update its schedule or content, and the changes apply to upcoming sends. If you need to stop a series and are not sure how, contact support.
