🔐 Forgot Password Not Working? How We'll Securely Send Your Login

If the "Forgot password" reset isn't working, your Bookboost contact can send your login securely via a 1Password one-time link. Here's what to expect.

If you've used the "Forgot password" link to reset your Bookboost login and it isn't working (the reset email doesn't arrive, or the reset won't complete), don't worry. As a backup, your Bookboost contact can send your login details through a secure one-time link from 1Password.

You don't need a 1Password account, and you don't need to install anything. Here's what to expect.

Try this first

Before we send your details manually, please first follow our guide How to Change or Reset Your Bookboost Password and try the standard reset (don't forget to check your spam folder for the reset email).

If you've already followed those steps and the reset still isn't working, reach out to your Bookboost contact and we'll send your login securely using the steps below.

What you'll receive

An email from us with a single secure link, along with the step-by-step instructions below so you know exactly what to do. There won't be a password written in the email itself. That's by design.

Step 1: Open the link and enter your email

When you click the link, you'll see a page that says "Someone shared an item with you."

Enter the email address the link was sent to, then click Send code. This confirms the link is being opened by you.

Step 2: Enter your verification code

1Password will automatically email you a 6-digit code. Open that email, copy the code, type it into the box, and click View item.

Didn't get a code? Check your spam folder, or click Try again to have a new one sent.

Step 3: View and save your login (one time only)

Your login details will now appear, with a banner that says "You can view this only 1 time." You'll see your username, password, and the website to log in to.

Important: because this is a one-time view, please save your details right away, ideally in your own password manager or somewhere safe. Once you close the page, the link can't be opened again.

Frequently asked questions

The link says it's expired. What do I do?
No problem. Just reply to our email and we'll send you a fresh link.

Do I need a 1Password account?
No. You can view your details straight from your browser, with no account or download needed.

Why don't you just email me the password?
Email isn't a secure place to store passwords. A one-time link means your credentials are only ever visible to you, and only for a moment, keeping your account protected.

Need help? Just reply to the email from your Bookboost contact and we'll be glad to assist.
