Introduction
The Shiji integration brings a broad set of reservation and guest data into Bookboost, so you can segment guests, automate communication, and give your team live context. The integration is one-way: data flows from Shiji into Bookboost. This article explains how the sync works, what syncs, and what you can do with it.
How the sync works
Shiji sends data to Bookboost through a webhook, so new and updated reservations and guest details reach Bookboost in near real-time. Data flows one way, from Shiji into Bookboost.
What syncs from Shiji into Bookboost
Guests: name, phone, email, address, preferred communication language, consents, and identity documents. Guests are synced as primary, secondary, and debtor profile types.
Reservations: reservations and reservation groups, external reference IDs, and rate plans.
Companies: company profiles, company addresses, and company contacts.
Rooms: spaces and space types, including the booked and charged room type.
Policies: cancellation, deposit, and no-show policies.
Orders and products: purchase elements synced as orders, order items, and products.
What you can do with this
Automate pre-arrival, in-stay, and post-stay messages triggered by Shiji reservations.
Segment guests for campaigns using reservation, company, and guest data.
Personalise messages with reservation, room, and rate details.
Give your team live guest and reservation context in the Unified Inbox.
Configuration and Setup
No configuration is required once the integration is active. To connect a property, see Setting up the Shiji integration.
