Setting up the Shiji integration

What you need from Shiji to connect it to Bookboost, and how the connection is completed.

Introduction

Connecting Shiji Enterprise Platform to Bookboost brings your reservations and guest data into Bookboost so you can automate guest communication and run campaigns from live PMS data. Setting up the connection needs API access and a few credentials from Shiji; Bookboost completes the technical setup. This article explains what to request and what happens next.

Before you start

  • Active Bookboost and Shiji accounts.

  • API access from Shiji. Request this from Shiji support at pms.support@shijigroup.com.

  • Permission to configure integrations for your property.

What to provide

Request the following from Shiji and share them with your Bookboost contact:

  • Domain

  • Client ID

  • Username

  • Password

  • Auth Domain

  • Display Name

  • Property ID

  • Client Secret

How the connection is completed

Once Bookboost has your credentials and property ID, it sets up the connection and a webhook so Shiji can send data to Bookboost. Bookboost confirms once it is live and shares any webhook details you need. Setup usually takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and each property is connected individually.

Importing your reservation history

Once live, data stays up to date automatically. If you want past reservations brought in, Bookboost can run a historical import for a date range you choose.

Configuration and Setup

Most of the setup is completed by Bookboost. To confirm it is working, check that new Shiji reservations appear in Bookboost.
