Introduction
The SiteMinder integration brings your reservations and guest data into Bookboost so you can automate guest communication and segment guests. It is one-way: SiteMinder pushes data from your PMS into Bookboost. This article explains how it works and what syncs.
How the sync works
Your PMS sends reservations to SiteMinder Exchange, and SMX pushes them to Bookboost automatically as they arrive. Data flows one way, into Bookboost.
What syncs into Bookboost
Reservations: arrival and departure, number of adults and children, status, total amount, currency, booking channel and market category, booking reference, and guarantee type.
Guests: first, middle, and last name, salutation, language, email, and phone.
Address: address line, city, postal code, country, and state or province.
Loyalty: loyalty programme, level, and membership details where the channel provides them.
Room type: name, code, and description, plus the room number where provided.
Rate plan: name, code, and description.
What you can do with this
Automate guest messaging triggered by new reservations synced from your PMS.
Segment guests for campaigns using reservation and guest data, such as channel or country.
Give your team live reservation context in the Unified Inbox.
Configuration and Setup
No configuration is required once the integration is active. To connect, see Setting up the SiteMinder integration.
