Setting up the Clock PMS integration

How to connect your Clock PMS property to Bookboost, and optionally add the Web Messenger to your Clock guest pages.

Introduction

The Clock PMS integration is a one-way connection that syncs your reservations and guest data from Clock PMS into Bookboost, so you can run campaigns and manage guest conversations from live PMS data. Setup starts in your Clock PMS Marketplace and is completed by Bookboost. This article explains how to activate it.

Connecting through the Clock PMS Marketplace

Before you start, make sure you have active Clock PMS and Bookboost accounts, access to the Clock PMS Marketplace, and the permissions to set up integrations. Allow about 30 minutes.

  1. Log in to your Clock PMS dashboard and go to the Marketplace.

  2. Find the Bookboost listing and click Activate.

  3. Confirm activation. This automatically sends Bookboost the credentials needed to complete the connection, and the Bookboost team finishes the setup.

Once the connection is complete on the Bookboost side, new reservations in Clock PMS appear in Bookboost within about five minutes.

Adding Bookboost Web Messenger to your Clock guest pages (optional)

You can show the Bookboost Web Messenger on your Clock guest-facing pages so guests can chat with you there. Copy your Web Messenger snippet in Bookboost under Settings, Web Messenger, then add it to your Clock self-service and booking pages.

Importing your reservation history

If past reservations are missing after setup, contact Bookboost support and we can arrange a historical import.

Configuration and Setup

Activation starts in the Clock PMS Marketplace and Bookboost completes the connection. There is nothing further to configure in Bookboost once it is live.
