Introduction
Once your Mews property is connected to Bookboost, guest and reservation data flows into Bookboost automatically, so you can run guest communication and CRM campaigns from live PMS data. Mews stays your source of truth. This article walks you through connecting the integration, what Bookboost does on its side, and how to bring in your past reservations.
Connecting Mews to Bookboost
In Mews, click the Burger menu in the top left.
Go to Marketplace, then click Discover Marketplace.
Search for Bookboost and click Add to Mews. You can also open the Bookboost listing on the Mews Marketplace directly.
Click Connect. This sends the credentials Bookboost needs to the Bookboost onboarding team by email.
Bookboost activates the connection from its side. Your onboarding contact will confirm once it is live.
Importing your reservation history (optional)
If you have past reservations in Mews, Bookboost can bring them in with a historical sync. The default range is about two years in the past and about one year in the future. If you need a different range, ask your onboarding contact and a custom range can be arranged.
Configuration and Setup
Multiple properties. Each Mews property needs its own integration and its own app in Bookboost. Repeat the connection steps for every property.
Avoid duplicate messages. If Bookboost will handle guest messaging, turn off the matching automated messages in Mews so guests do not receive both. See how to configure email delivery settings in Mews.
After connecting
Once live, guest and reservation data syncs from Mews every five minutes. To check it is working, open a recent Mews reservation in Bookboost and confirm the guest and booking details have come through. Allow a few minutes after a new booking for it to appear.
