The Guests list

Searching, filtering, sorting and exporting your guest base from one table, and what it cannot do yet.

The Guests list is where your whole guest base lives. It loads as you scroll, searches name, email, phone, UUID and booking reference from one box, and shows tags, audiences and the latest reservation in the row itself, so most lookups no longer need you to open a profile at all.

Find it at Guests in the left menu. This version is in Beta.

The Guests list

What it does

Loads as you scroll. The header shows how many guests you have in total; the footer shows how many rows are loaded so far.

One search box for everything. Name, email address, phone number, UUID, or booking reference on any of the guest's reservations. These used to be separate filters. For what each field accepts and how results are ordered, see Searching in the Reservations and Guests tables.

Filtering by audience, language, or guest tags.

Sorting by total reservations, total amount spent, or last updated. This is the quickest way to surface your highest-value guests.

Configurable columns. Add or remove columns for the task at hand. They scroll horizontally, with the guest name pinned to the left.

Contact a guest from the row. Open a new inbox conversation by email or phone without leaving the list.

Export selected rows to CSV.

What this does not do yet

  • Column layout is not saved between sessions. Columns return to the default every time you open the list. Persistent preferences are planned.

  • Export covers selected or loaded rows only. You cannot export the full result of a filter in one action. Filter first, let the list load, select the rows, then export.

  • For a full export, make a GDPR data request or use Bookboost Insights.

  • An audience only appears in the filter if it is marked "show on profile". A missing audience is that setting, not a fault.

Common questions

Can I search by booking reference?
Yes. Search covers the booking reference on any of the guest's reservations, as well as name, email, phone, and UUID.

Why do some audience filters not appear?
The filter only shows audiences marked with "show on profile".

If I export, do I get all guests or just the ones I selected?
Only the rows you have selected, or that are currently loaded.

What to do next

To build a reusable segment rather than a one-off lookup, see Audiences.
