Each role in Bookboost unlocks a specific set of sections and features. When an operator is assigned more than one role, they gain access to the combined set of sections from all assigned roles. This makes it easy to build custom permission profiles for team members who work across different areas of the platform.

Configuration and Setup
To assign multiple roles to an operator (you need to be an Admin to do this):
Go to Settings in the left-hand menu.
Navigate to Operators.
Select the operator you want to configure, or click + Add new.
Under Add role, select the first role from the dropdown.
Click Add role again and select the second role.
Repeat for any additional roles needed.
Click Save to confirm.
Known Issues or Limitations
Admin role is not required for combined access — If an operator needs access to multiple sections, always consider combining specific roles first before assigning Admin. This keeps permissions lean and secure.
Role combinations are additive — Each role adds its permissions on top of the others. There is no conflict between roles; the operator simply gains the union of all assigned role permissions.
