How to Set Up the GuestRevu Integration with Bookboost

A step-by-step guide for connecting GuestRevu to Bookboost so you can send guest satisfaction survey links via Bookboost email campaigns.

This article explains how to connect GuestRevu with Bookboost so that you can send GuestRevu survey links to your guests through Bookboost email campaigns.

Overview

The GuestRevu ↔ Bookboost integration allows you to trigger guest satisfaction surveys through your Bookboost messaging workflows. The setup involves sharing a few pieces of information between your team, Bookboost, and GuestRevu's Integrations team.

What You'll Need Before Starting

  • Your GuestRevu API Key — provided by GuestRevu. This is a long alphanumeric string that authenticates the connection between the two platforms.

  • Your Bookboost Property UUID — a unique identifier for your property in Bookboost. This is different from your numeric property ID. See below for how to find it.

  • Your property name as it appears in Bookboost — to confirm the correct property is being connected.

Step 1 – Share Your GuestRevu API Key

Send your GuestRevu API Key to the GuestRevu Integrations team at integrations@guestrevu.com, copying Bookboost support at support@bookboost.io. Your Customer Success Manager at Bookboost can advise on the best approach if you're unsure.

⚠️ Never share API keys in public forums or with anyone outside of the official integration teams.

Step 2 – Find and Share Your Bookboost Property UUID

GuestRevu will need your Bookboost Property UUID to link the integration to the right property. This is not the same as your numeric property ID.

To find your Property UUID in Bookboost:

  1. Log in to your Bookboost account.

  2. Go to Settings → Integrations.

  3. Select your property from the dropdown at the top of the page.

  4. Your UUID will appear in the property details or integration section — it looks like this: xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx.

If you can't find it, contact Bookboost support at support@bookboost.io and we'll help you locate it.

Step 3 – GuestRevu Completes Setup on Their Side

Once GuestRevu's Integrations team has your API key and Property UUID, they will complete the configuration on their end. They may also request:

  • The Bookboost base API endpoint: https://api.bookboost.io

  • Your property name as it appears in Bookboost

GuestRevu will confirm with you once the integration is live on their side.

Step 4 – Add the Survey Link to Your Bookboost Emails

Once the integration is confirmed active by GuestRevu, you can include the survey link in your Bookboost email campaigns:

  1. Open the campaign or automation journey you want to add the survey to in Bookboost.

  2. Edit your email template and insert the GuestRevu survey link — for example, as a button or hyperlink in your post-stay email.

  3. The link will be personalised per guest based on the integration data passed between the platforms.
