Introduction
Connecting Cloudbeds to Bookboost brings your reservations and guest profiles into Bookboost so you can automate guest communication and run pre-check-in flows. The integration is in limited release and certified for pre-check-in use cases, so access is enabled per account. This article explains how to request access, connect a property, and disconnect.
Before you start
An active Cloudbeds account with permission to install Marketplace apps.
An active Bookboost account with at least one property configured.
A Digital Reception pre-check-in form ready in Bookboost, if you plan to use pre-check-in. If you are not sure you are ready, email support@bookboost.io and the team will check with you.
Requesting access
Because the integration is in limited release, it is enabled per account. Contact your Customer Success Manager or email support@bookboost.io to have the Cloudbeds integration enabled for your property. Once it is enabled, connect Cloudbeds and Bookboost using the steps below.
Connecting through the Cloudbeds Marketplace
Log in to Cloudbeds with a user who can install apps.
Go to the Cloudbeds Marketplace and search for Bookboost.
Click Connect app.
Review the permissions and click Allow.
You are redirected to Bookboost to confirm your organisation and select the property to connect.
You see a success message once connected.
Repeat these steps for each property you want to connect. Properties can be connected individually or through group-level authorisation.
Configuration and Setup
Multiple properties. Connect each property with the steps above, or use group-level authorisation.
Disconnecting. Disconnect from the Cloudbeds side: log in to Cloudbeds (myfrontdesk), go to Apps or Marketplace, find the Bookboost app, and follow the steps to disconnect. See the Cloudbeds guide, How to disconnect an app. Once disconnected, Cloudbeds stops sending data to Bookboost and Bookboost can no longer sync or update Cloudbeds data. Existing data already in Bookboost remains unless you request its deletion.
