Introduction
Once your Apaleo property is connected to Bookboost, reservation and guest data flows both ways between the two systems, so you can automate guest communication and write guest details back to Apaleo. Apaleo stays your source of truth for bookings. This article explains how the connection is set up and what you need to do on the Apaleo side.
How the connection works
Apaleo is a two-way direct integration. Setup has two parts: Bookboost prepares your integration app, and you authorise Bookboost to access your Apaleo data. Bookboost is also listed on the Apaleo Store.
Connecting Apaleo to Bookboost
Contact your Bookboost onboarding contact to start. Bookboost prepares the integration app for your account.
Log in to both Apaleo and Bookboost using the same email address.
Open the authorisation link https://app.bookboost.io/oauth/authorize/apaleo and approve access. This authorises Apaleo to send data to Bookboost.
Let your onboarding contact know once you have authorised. Bookboost then connects your Apaleo property to your Bookboost app.
Two requirements to note: you must be an administrator in Apaleo, and you must use the same login email for Apaleo and Bookboost.
Importing your reservation history
There is nothing to configure for history. Apaleo synchronises all reservations in real time, so past and future reservations come across without setting a date range.
Configuration and Setup
Multiple properties. Each Apaleo property is connected to its own Bookboost app. Repeat the authorisation for each property.
Disconnecting. If you ever need to remove the integration, disconnect it from the Apaleo side. Disconnecting only on the Bookboost side does not stop Apaleo from sending updates.
