Room and space tokens

The token categories for the room a guest is in and the type of space it belongs to.

These tokens describe where the guest is staying: the specific room assigned to them, and the category of space it belongs to. The distinction between the two matters, because a guest can be upgraded after booking.

The room and space token categories

  • Room. The specific assigned room, including name, number, floor, building number, and description.

  • Room Type. The type of space associated with the reservation, including name, code, and description.

  • Booked Space Type. The space type the guest originally booked.

  • Space Type to Charge. The space type used for billing, which can differ from the booked type after an upgrade.

Some tokens may not be available to you, because your PMS does not supply that data.

What to do next

To insert any of these, open the Token button in the campaign or template editor. To reformat a date or time token, see Formatting dates and times with tokens.
