A Guest App page is a web page you build in Bookboost and send to guests, with no app for them to install. You build it once, and every guest who opens the link sees the latest published version.
You will also see the Guest App called Digital Reception. They are the same thing.
Creating a page
Go to Guest App in the left menu.
Open Pages (Legacy).
Select + Page in the top right.
Give the page a name and choose the property it belongs to.
Drag components from the panel on the left onto the page, and fill them with your content.
Select Publish As Active or Publish As Inactive at the bottom of the editor.
The name is for you rather than the guest, so name it by what it does: "Pre-arrival, direct bookers" beats "Page 3".
What you can do with a page from the list
Hovering a row on the Pages list reveals five icons at the right-hand end: Edit, Duplicate, Preview, Get static link, and Delete.
Duplicate is the one people miss. It is how you build a second version of a page without rebuilding it, and it is the safe way to strip personalisation tokens off a page you want to share publicly. See Static page links.
Editing a live page
Editing a published page saves a new version. When you publish it, that version replaces the previous one.
The guest link never changes. Tokens always point at the latest published version, so a guest who received a link last week and opens it today sees today's content. You do not need to resend anything after an edit.
The other side of that: an edit is live for everyone the moment you publish, including guests mid-stay who are looking at the page right now.
Getting a page to a guest
Pages are sent using a Guest App token, generated for you in the message composer when you build a campaign. Guests reach the page by selecting an action button in the message.
Always use the token rather than pasting a URL. A token resolves to the current version and carries the guest's own context. A pasted link does neither.
Where you deliberately want a link anyone can open, for a QR code at reception for instance, use a static link instead. See Static page links.
Moving between pages
The Guest App carries navigation of its own: a header with Profile and Payments, and a bar along the bottom with Home, Bookings and Account.
What it does not do is join your own pages to each other. Every route from one of your pages to another is an action button you place yourself, so the structure has to be planned before you build.
What this does not do
Map is a component, Keys and Profile are not. Map is one of the four you drag onto a page. Keys and Profile belong to the Guest App itself rather than to any one page.
Links between your own pages are manual, every time. The app's own navigation does not know about them.
Publishing is immediate and applies to everyone. There is no scheduled publish and no way to show an older version to guests who already have the link.
Digital key activation is Goki only. That is the one integration live on Guest App pages today.
