Sorting and filtering rate plans

Narrow the Rate Plans list by property, name, or code.

The Rate Plans section has a filter panel above the results. Use it to find a specific rate plan rather than scrolling a list that grows every time a new one is booked.

What you can filter and sort on

The panel covers three of the six columns of the Rate Plans table:

  • Properties, the dropdown at the far left. It defaults to All, and it is the first thing to set if you manage more than one property.

  • Name, the title of the rate plan as configured in your PMS.

  • Code, the internal identifier.

Attributes, Is active and Is public are shown on each row but cannot be filtered or sorted.

Select a column heading to sort by it. Name, Property and Code can be sorted; the other three cannot.

What each of these fields contains is described in The Rate Plans section.

What people use it for

  • Confirming a rate plan exists before building a campaign that depends on it.

  • Finding the exact name a rate plan carries, which is rarely what people call it internally.

  • Checking a code when mapping rate plans between systems.

  • Working one property at a time in a group account, where the same rate plan name can exist several times.

What this does not do

  • It does not create an audience. This is a view of your rate plans, not a way to select guests. To target guests by their reservation, see Audience filters: reservation.

  • It cannot find a rate plan that is not there. A rate plan appears only after a reservation has used it.

  • It does not change anything. Rate plans are created and edited in your PMS.

  • Filters are not saved. They apply to the view you are in.

  • It cannot narrow the list to active rate plans. Is active is not a filter. Find the plan by name or code and read its row instead.

What to do next

See The Rate Plans section for what each column means and why a rate plan might be missing.
