How To Reprint A Picking Label For An Item Which Has Progressed To The Batch Screen

Please note that this guide is only for use if an item is within the batches screen

1. Press the F9 key and search for the resident using the format “(SURNAME) (FORENAME)” and select the resident by double clicking.

2. When on the resident’s profile go to their “Dispensing history” tab and find the item you wish to reprint the picking label for. (Please ensure that you select the correct entry by checking the date.)

3. Right click on the item and select “Cancel item”.

4. Press “Yes” on the cancel prompt.

5. Type the reasoning for the cancellation and press “OK”.

After you refresh the dispensing history, you will see a blue cancellation text.

6. Go to the prescription history at the top and find the item.

7. Right click on the item and press “Free up RX”.

8. Press “Yes” on the Free up window.

9. After this right click on the item and select “View RX from pool”.

10. This will bring up a new window. In this window you need to right click on the item and select either “Send to Interim (Partial)” or “Send to Monthly” depending on what type of order this is. (Interim or monthly.)

11. It will ask you for the Quantity of the item. This should Autofill, if this doesn’t autofill please fill this in and press “OK”.

12. Another window will pop up asking where to dispense. This window will always automatically populate. Just press the “Send” button.

13. This will then be sent to the dispensing tab at the top. Once you’re in the dispensing tab you should see the item under either “interim” or “monthly” and you can select it and print the picking label by clicking “dispense selected items” as you normally would.
